We will introduce how to replace the seals.HMB1400 hydraulic breaker cylinder as an example.
1. Seal replacement that is assembled to the cylinder.
1) Disassemble the dust seal→U-packing→buffer seal in order with a seal decomposition tool.
2) Assemble the buffer seal → U-packing → dust seal in order .
Remark:
Function of Buffer seal: Buffer oil pressure
Function of U-packing: Prevent hydraulic oil leakage ;
Dust seal: Prevent dust from entering.
After assembling, make sure whether the seal is inserted into the seal pocket completely.
Apply hydraulic fluid to the seal after assembling sufficiently.
2. Seal replacement that is assembled to the seal retainer.
1) Disassemble all seals.
2) Assemble the step seal(1,2) → gas seal in order.
Remark:
Function of Step seal: Prevent hydraulic oil leakage
Function of Gas seal: Prevent gas from entering
After assembling, make sure whether the seal is inserted into the seal pocket completely.(Touch with your hand)
Apply hydraulic fluid to the seal after assembling sufficiently.
